2010 Rally There has been a good response with ideas for a rally or regatta in 2010.  Popular suggestions:

Southern England Most popular seems to be for participation in the Poole Regatta 29th to 31st May 2010.  There have be two classes for Dehler yachts included in the Poole Regatta one for racers and one for cruisers.  I will be attempting to get all the Dehler yachts moored together ih the evenings so please email to let me know if you intend entering.

Scotland West Coast Rally A number of owners have experessed an interest in attanding a rally on the west coast of Scotland.  Would any owners interested in this please email me and I will be happy to co-ordinate an event.

East Coast A rally either on the East Coast or in the Netherlands including particpation of our friends from the Dehler Netherlands club.

Are any owners interested in rallies in the following locations?  West Coast Scotland - Malta?

Dehler rudders
We are now becoming able to supply new rudders for many Dehler yachts at a very competitive price.  We can also supply rudder bearings for later Dehlers in addition to those for earlier yachts

2008 Regatta
A hardy group of Dehler sailors put up a good show at the Poole Regatta in May. Martin Pearson's Dehler 33 Ruthless was a class winner and Garry Willard on Giddy Gazelle and Brian Thompson and Ivor Graham on Deity dominated much of the Dehler activity.  Chris Hughes and his crew on Riverdance from Plymouth also did very well.  Jaap Metzlar and a very competent looking crew came over from the Netherlands and appeared to be potential winners but sadly had to leave us and return home after the first day - its to be hoped that they will be able to join us again next year.

We were joined on Spirit of Peponi by Alice and Roberto from Milan.  They are able sailors and we hope that they can join us again in the future.  They had good tales of sailing their Dehler 34 in the warmer climes of the Ligurian Sea.  On the first day we were helped greatly byTony Bertram of Dolphin Sails who joined us to ensure that our new sails were setting correctly - which they were!

Dolphin Sails

We are very pleased to say that Dolphin Sails are contributing to the cost of running our site - several Dehler owners have emailed to say how happy they are with the performance of their Dolphin sails.  Tony Bertram who is extremely knowledgable concerning sails is their South Coast representative - email us if you would like to talk to him.

Kim needs a new control panel (panel over the chart table) for her Dehler 35CWS please email  if you have any suggestions for this as we have been unable to find the original replacement.
