A hardy group of Dehler sailors put up a good show at the Poole Regatta in May. Martin Pearson's Dehler 33 Ruthless was a class winner and Garry Willard on Giddy Gazelle and Brian Thompson and Ivor Graham on Deity dominated much of the Dehler activity. Chris Hughes and his crew on Riverdance from Plymouth also did very well. Jaap Metzlar and a very competent looking crew came over from the Netherlands and appeared to be potential winners but sadly had to leave us and return home after the first day - its to be hoped that they will be able to join us again next year.

We were joined on Spirit of Peponi by Alice and Roberto from Milan. They are able sailors and we hope that they can join us again in the future. They had good tales of sailing their Dehler 34 in the warmer climes of the Ligurian Sea.
